Reviving your backlist

We pick titles from your backlist, redesign, translate, and then relaunch them.

We shoulder every cost

We cover 100 % of the production, printing, and marketing costs, meaning zero up-front cost for publishers we decide to partner up with.

We share earnings 50/50 with all our publishing partners

We deduct the costs of production and distribution, then split the remaining earnings equally with our partner publishers. Our goal is to align our interests, as mutual success benefits both of us.

To republish a book is to reimagine it, without losing what made it matter.

Our translators work to capture not just the words, but the humor, rhythm, and cultural nuances of the original. Meanwhile, our designers fuss over fonts, inks, paper, and illustrations, so that each edition is as beautiful and true to the original work as possible.

The Frekk Playbook - What Happens After “Yes”

1. Selecting titles & formalizing rights

We start by handpicking the titles that fit our curated collections, making sure the brand we’ve built around them can drive even stronger sales for your book. We have clear, simple terms; no upfront costs, and a revenue share well above market standards.

2. Translation & book re-design

Every sentence is carefully translated by professionals to preserve tone, nuance, and cultural meaning. When the text is good, we reimagine the design with the same level of care and expertise. Cohesiveness in quality is key to building trust. Whether it’s a crime novel, a children’s book, or a travel guide.

3. Setting up distribution

We register the book, optimize its metadata, and prepare it for printing. We then distribute it through our network, ensuring placement in bookstores and online retailers across key markets

4. Marketing and sales

A good book deserves more than a quiet release. We craft tailored market-specific marketing campaigns that give each title a fighting chance. We place your books in front of the right readers, at the right time, in the right markets.
